What is a colour palette extractor?
A colour palette extractor analyses an image and lists its dominant colours as HEX and RGB values. In seconds you get a usable palette from a photograph, a product shot or a reference design, ready to paste straight into your design tool or your CSS.

Can I build a brand palette with this?

As a starting point, yes — but not on its own. The tool gives you the raw colours present in an image. A corporate palette also needs contrast ratios, accessibility checks against WCAG AA, CMYK equivalents for print, and rules about where each colour is allowed to appear.
How many colours does it extract?

It lists the dominant colours by frequency. A brand palette usually needs three to five: one primary, one accent, and two or three neutrals. Taking more than that from the list tends to make the system incoherent rather than richer.
Is my image uploaded?

No. Colour analysis runs in your browser on your own device. The image you load is never sent to a server, which matters for unreleased product photography and client design work.
